In gaming specifically, you won’t see huge gains over the i7-12700KF because most games are GPU-limited. But if you’re doing professional work, this chip saves you hours.

The RTX 5090 is Nvidia’s halo product. It’s got 24GB of GDDR6X VRAM and performance that’s frankly ridiculous. I tested 4K gaming across multiple titles: Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K ultra with full ray tracing and DLSS 4 ran at 80-90 fps. That’s playable 4K with all the eye candy turned on. For 1440p or 1080p gaming, this card is complete overkill. You’ll be GPU-limited in basically nothing.

This build is also excellent for 3D rendering, AI workloads, or professional video editing. That 24GB VRAM means you can load massive textures or work with 8K footage without running out of memory. The NVENC encoder handles multiple simultaneous streams if you’re doing multi-platform broadcasting.
